We are proud to be a dance school that teaches to ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) standards and our children have the option, when ready, to take graded exams in ballet, tap, modern & contemporary.
The Natasha-Lea School of Dance was founded in 2011 and is a family orientated school based in Soberton and Hambledon in southern Hampshire. The principles of the school are to offer engaging, high quality and above all friendly dance lessons for children from reception upwards.
We believe first and foremost that all our students should enjoy their lessons. We encourage all our students to embrace both performing and progressing in grades, but we do not insist on either.
We initially offered lessons in Ballet and Tap, but introduced Modern to our syllabus in 2015. We also offer beginners classes for adults wishing to learn Tap and Ballet.
From September 2019 we are officially becoming a school of both Dance & Performing Arts by adding Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Dramatic Arts lessons.
Our Musical Theatre and Dramatic Arts lessons are taught to the British Arts syllabus and, for those who wish, we also enter the British Arts Awards for both performing arts and dance every year.
Your wedding day will be one of the most planned days you’ll ever have, but often when it comes to the first dance you haven’t thought through what you’d want to do. Why not work with one of our teachers to create a dance that will leave all of your guests impressed and will give you a perfect memory to look back on in years to come.
Our dance school is based in Soberton Village Hall, although some classes are also held at Hambledon village hall as well. We also may hold sessions from time to time in East Meon, Newtown and the surrounding area of Hampshire.
